Rules!

Pie Eating Contest!

  1. 15 Adult Contestants, age 13 & up.
  2. Choice of blueberry or cherry 9" Pie.
  3. 15 Child Contestants, age 12 & under.
  4. Choice of blueberry or cherry 6" pie.
  5. Adults: First person to finish their pie OR the most pie eaten in 90 seconds (whichever comes first).
  6. Children: First person to finish their pie OR the most pie eaten in 60 seconds (whichever comes first).
  7. Hands must be held behind the back.
  8. In the event of a tie, whomever's plate and face is cleaner will win.
  9. If your hands touch the pie you will be disqualified.
  10. Regurgitation during the competition or within 5 minutes after the buzzer goes off will lead to disqualification.
  11. If you begin eating before the buzzer, you will be disqualified.
  12. If you have food in your mouth when the buzzer sounds, you may swallow it.
  13. EMS will have the authority to "stop" a contestant or the contest at any point if they deem it unsafe.
  14. Water will be available to all contestants.
  15. Contestant will be disqualified if water is used to douse or dunk pie during contest.

Pickle Eating Contest


  1. 15 Adults 18 and up.
  2. First person to eat 10 whole dill pickles OR as many as they can in 3 minutes (whichever comes first).
  3. Partially eaten pickles county, measure in 1/2" incriments.
  4. Pickles still in the mouth when the buzzer goes off count if they are subsequently swallowed.
  5. Regurgitation during the competition or within 5 minutes after the buzzer goes off will lead to disqualification.
  6. "Messy eating" can be counted as a penalty.
  7. If there is a tie, the contestants go to a 2 pickle eat off to see who can eat them the fastest. Further ties will result in a sudden death eat-off of eating one more pickle in the fastest time.
  8. If you begin eating before the buzzer, you will be disqualified.
  9. EMS will have the authority to "stop" a contestant or the contest at any point if they deem it unsafe.
  10. Water will be available to all contestants.

Hot Dog Eating Contest

  1. 15 adults 18 and up.
  2. First person to eat 15 hot dogs and buns OR as many as they can in 3 minutes (whichever comes first).
  3. Partially eaten hot dogs and buns count, measured in 1/2 hot dog increments.
  4. Hot dogs still in the mouth when the buzzer goes off count if they are subsequently swallowed.
  5. Regurgitation during the competition or within 5 minutes after the buzzer goes off will lead to disqualification.
  6. "Messy eating" can be counted as a penalty, Penalties can be deducted as 1/2 hot dog increment at the end of the contest.
  7. If there is a tie, the contestants go to a 5 hot dog eat-off to see who can eat the most hot dogs in the fastest time.
  8. If you begin eating before the buzzer, you will be disqualified.
  9. EMS will have the authority to stop a contestant or the contest at any point if they deem it unsafe.
  10. Water will be available to all contestants.
  11. No dunking or watering down of hot dogs or buns will be allowed.
